Kami Power, Vice President
767/777 Programs
Kami Power is Vice President of Boeing Twin Aisle Programs at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc.
Power was named to her current role in February 2023 and is responsible for production and Profit & Loss for the Boeing 767 and 777/777x programs.
Her most recent role was Executive Director, Corporate and Program Sustainability, responsible for Spirit’s Corporate Sustainability program as well as the Program Management Center of Excellence. In addition, she held interim responsibilities for Spirit’s global Environmental Health Safety and Security, Trade Compliance and Ethics and Compliance.
She previously served as Executive Director – Crisis Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Strategy, and CEO Business Management, responsible for executing strategy and implementing the CEO’s business initiatives as the de facto Chief of Staff, helping guide the global Spirit organization through its crisis management response to the industry-changing events of the 737 MAX grounding and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Power previously served as Executive Director of the Boeing 747 and 767 programs. where she was responsible for leading multiple customer and Spirit led initiatives, including the business capture and execution of the 767 work transfer from Boeing to Spirit. She was also Special Projects leader for the Spirit Twin Aisle Programs, responsible for the Program implementation of customer initiatives.
Before joining Spirit, Power worked in investment management at Wellington Management and in Research Administration at Boston University in Boston, Mass..
She holds an MBA from Newman University and a bachelor of science degree in journalism and broadcasting from Oklahoma State University. She is a graduate of Leadership Wichita. Power speaks conversational Spanish and is proficient in Intermediate American Sign Language.
